LEGENDARY FOOTBALLERS PLAY CHARITY GAME

Legendary footballers are set to clash in an Ipswich Town-themed charity football game, according to reports.

The charity football has raise thousands of Pounds for charity and the tradition is set to continue but with veterans lining up against each other this time in Bury St Edmunds.

Kieron Dyer, Matt Holland, Russel Osman and Titus Bramble are some of the stars that are set to feature in the duel. The funds that would be generated this term would be sent to West Suffolk Hospital’s Forget-Me-Not Dementia campaign, run by My WiSH Charity and ITFA Academy, the organizers say.

The public would have to pay to feature against these legends and to share the same dressing room with the adored football stars. The organizers say the event has been confirmed to hold on April 23rd at the same Bury Town Ram Meadow.

The invited legend would not play all on a side but would be split into both sides for the sake of fair competition.

“For the 2017 version, we wanted to do something a bit different. So everyone will get a chance to share a dressing room with a set of legends and fans will be given the opportunity to see some of Ipswich’s most famous old faces lock horns against each other,” Simon Milton the academy director at Ipswich said.

The organizers add that there would be opportunities for meet and greet for the players and supporters who are interested and that fans can place bids on either playing teams. Since there are only 22 spots available for the match, the places would be auctioned next month with full details. Interested people are to send emails to express details and receive further details in the spirit of fairness, organizers asked.
