JENAS RECOMMENDS HODGSON FOR LEICESTER


Retired Premier League star turn pundit Jermaine Jenas has declared that former England manager Roy Hodgson is the right fit at Leicester City.


The coach led the Three Lions to a disappointing show at Euro 2016 where he resigned after the tournament. England were knocked out by small side Iceland – yet another poor outing in the international scene from the former World Cup champions.

Legendary footballers are set to clash in an Ipswich Town-themed charity football game, according to reports.


The charity football has raise thousands of Pounds for charity and the tradition is set to continue but with veterans lining up against each other this time in Bury St Edmunds.

Kieron Dyer, Matt Holland, Russel Osman and Titus Bramble are some of the stars that are set to feature in the duel. The funds that would be generated this term would be sent to West Suffolk Hospital’s Forget-Me-Not Dementia campaign, run by My WiSH Charity and ITFA Academy, the organizers say.

KNEE INJURY FORCES JERMAINE JENAS TO RETIRE


Jermaine Jenas retires from football at the age of 32 having been disturbed by a knee injury.

The former England midfielder has officially declared his retirement from football career after failing to recover from a knee injury.

The 33-year old has been working a pundit for the BBC for the past two seasons and declared his retirement live on Radio 4’s Today programme, on Thursday morning, January 7th.

“I have officially retired. I tried my best to come back from the knee injury but unfortunately that is the end of my career,” he said.

Jenas’ last match was on 15th of March, 2014 in a 3-0 victory for QPR over Yeovil at Loftus Road in a Championship fixture. He injured his anterior cruciate knee ligament in training the month that followed.
