Jermaine Jenas got on the wrong side of several Manchester United fans after he made a claim about new signing Jadon Sancho and his time with city rivals Manchester City. The Manchester United fans were left baffled with the claim made by Jermaine Jenas while he was on commentary duty for the Euro 2020 quarterfinal clash between Ukraine and England.
England right-back Walker joined Manchester City from fellow Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur on July 14, 2017. Manchester City paid £50m to sign Walker from Spurs thereby making him the most expensive defender at the time. Some weeks later, Sancho left Manchester City to join Borussia Dortmund. The Germans paid around £8m to sign the young winger from Manchester City on August 31, 2017.
Both Walker and Sancho played well as England booked their place in the last four of the European Championship for the first time in over two decades with a thumping win over the Ukrainians. Manager Gareth Southgate and his players thrashed Ukraine 4-0 to seal a semi-final clash with Denmark at the iconic Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night. Spurs striker Harry Kane scored a brace either side of the break in addition to goals from Harry Maguire and substitute Jordan Henderson in the second half. The winner of the game between Denmark and England will face Italy in the final on Sunday.
